Re: Driveway Feature Lighting?

Hey Pinkie, appreciate the feedback. From what I've seen on various forums, this is sadly the case with brick lights. I'll get the wiring done professionally if I go down this route but totally see your point with these things weathering over time and causing a short on the circuit. Looking to inst...

Re: Driveway Feature Lighting?

Any electric cable that is underground should be in armoured cable (not your normal twin & earth in conduit). However, what you'll get away with depends on whether you'll have the council building inspector's round, or not, and how amenable your sparks is with regard to part P sign off. We had L...

Re: How long?

Just realised I've had my Ti for just over 6 years (got it late Feb 2011), so the longest I've owned any car for. Was my daily driver for the first 2.5 years, but it's been on the drive and SORNed for the last 3.5 yrs. Got a fair few bits I was going to (maybe will at some point) fit to it; T25/T28 ...

A new roof will set you back a grand easy fitted. Walk away, you can get a perfectly respectable one for under £700 Ah, god's representative on earth speaks !! You're right, would be better sinking the money into getting the Ti moving (though 2 pallets of paving slabs in front of her nose stopping ...

To buy, or not to buy; a Cabby with no MOT & damaged roof ?

Long time no post. Still driving the Chevrolet (Daewoo) Captiva. The Ti still parked up on the drive (must get it back on the road at some point). Question; Seen a 95 M reg 216 Cabby for sale near me; 59k miles, no MOT (expired a week ago according to gov.uk), roof split/damaged (don't know if it le...

Luxury carpet with kids is a no no  Or pets. Hence why our new place will be solid flooring throughout, with rugs for some softness. So much easier to clean when yaked on, or cats have ripped a small furry mammal to pieces (why do they never eat the head or guts ?), or mopping up spillages.

Was a bit confused by the picture there, 'til I realised it's propped up upside down !

Looks like a Ti specific rad to me. Is the turbo coolant return pipe on top of rad intact ? This is quite fragile and often breaks.

Any idea when it got the overspray on it ?
