V6 cover plate

Had some cover plates made for the V6 to enhance/protect the front 3 plugs & leads. Made of brushed stainless steel & laser cut with protective skin to keep them fresh while fitted. Anyone wanting one PM me £25 posted. http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy85/slacko1/P1010718_zps7nyjdhdp.jpg

A few pics of this years POL for anyone who couldn't attend. A great day out in glorious sunshine & a fantastic turnout. Too big to get round it all as the old pegs had had enough. LOL

Re: another rover to add to collection

Performance panel air filter, will sound better & produce a few more horses, avoid cones unless shielded as they suck in hot air & actually reduce BHP. Check thermostat housing in middle of V for leaks, a well known fault.

If it's the factory unit you can get the code free from any x Rover/MG dealer, they have all the details in a data base on their computers.

Re: What's a good winter wax protection

Bilthamber balm auto wax is great, it gets rid of swirls in the paint, leaves no residue, is applied with a damp cloth or pad (supplied) & leaves a great protective shine.

Just found some at our local "Job Lot" store for 99d, they look normal design wipers so I'll give them a try LOL. Not bloody rained since I bought them so I'll have to wait n see. Still they can't be any worse than the crappy Bosch blades I got ( lasted 3 months)

Re: Oil prices

The tax on fuel is VAT and fuel duty - both set by the UK treasury and AFAIK absolutely nothing to do with the EU.
