M series coolant pipe

Post by harkins77 »

I'm in need of a replacement lower coolant pipe for the Gti because of this being found when removing the hoses off when stripping the head.

Anyone got one in better condition I might be able to purchase from them?

I'm desperate as I'm gonna need it when I get the head rebuilt.

It looks very similar to a Tseries one, something could probably adapted.

It does look very similar to a T series one but the mountings are different on them and I've messaged Mark to see if there is anything that could be made but if they can't then it's a lot of money to be butchering it to be able to make it fit.

Yeah, I just checked, it's not as similar as I thought, something in stainless would be good :)

Would you suggest marks ones and just mod them to fit or get someone to make a copper pipe section along with the brackets?

As for the Chinese it's from my parents stash not mine lol.
