Thankyou I was never hiding my number plates otherwise I wouldn't have shown the boot pic.
I only covered up my mates numberplate on his disco as he didn't want his numberplate on the forums.

Also the previous owner took the plates off to clean and Dimond bright the car.

Thankyou I am smitten with the car and so is my father.
It was raining when we picked it up and when we got it home I pulled it into the garage and my dad started drying it off with the chamois

Hello people just thought id let you know that the vitesse is now fully road legal.

Very nice :D

Over christmas I also brought a T Plate 800 Fastback in charcoal which had been dried stored for ten years but used a bit more than yours before then .

It past it MOT today and also only needed its bracks freeing off to achieve this :D

Rear brakes are always an issue on the 800. I've found that a lot of problems with these is the guide pins on the caliper carriers which seem to seize up. Periodic removal and greasing is essential to allow the calipers to move freely and allow the self adjusting mechanism to work correctly.
Also, looking at the pictures of the hatch, there is some colour shift near the edge. My Zircon 800 had the very same effect, perhaps due to the stressing of the metal when being slammed shut. It wouldn't polish out.
Sadly she's no longer with me but had 303,000 miles on when she went.
