I know a guy down the road who has a turquoise R8 cabby, 1.6 honda, auto (unfortunatey), new roof in the last 3 years, new gearbox in the last two. K reg.
Has a few problems, average condition, aftermarket 17"s. I dont know if its got T&T, but presuming it hasnt what can i expect to offer him for it?

Yeah think so. Bit of a downside as i planned to put a T16 in it, i know its a fuckton of work to convert the D16 to a T16. Im going to pop round and have a good nosey round it on thursday, but the auto and the engine has put me off from the get go.
The woman who owns the car only has one leg, and when i was talking to her and her husband on the doorstep she said that it was auto because she "sometimes has problems with the clutch".
I dont know the finer details of it but im keen to have a good look.

I went to see this today and the guy thought it was gold plated. 123k, auto D16, aftermarket alloys, cloth interior, poly blue, brakes seized on, no mot or tax, rear window wouldnt raise as the frame for the roof was bent, and it had 'a problem with the driveshaft'. Wouldnt budge off £500, so i walked away.
So anyway if anyones desparate for a poly blue one i know where there is one.
Bugger it. Its always the case when you want one, you cant find one that ticks all boxes.
