Which do people prefer

Post by montytom »

Hello people can I ask a quick question.

Which style boost guage so you prefer?
Psi or bar?

Me personally I like the psi gauge as it shows a definate figure ie 10 psi etc.
I have had a bar one before but it was 0.7 bar boost.
Sorry if it seems an odd question its just I cannot sleep as i pick up my vitessein a few hours and im actually very excited.
Thanks Thomas

I'd say it depends how much boost you're running - it would be easier to keep an eye on higher boost levels on a Bar gauge imo.

I think PSI because you can quickly look at the scale 15psi makes more sense than 1.1 bar etc

For Rover tuners, it's Got to be PSI surely?

Not many people run big pressure systems

PSi for me, whenever I read a bar gauge I am converting it to psi.

Thankyou everyone I really appreciate your views.

I love the hitting boost cut one.

When I had my 620ti my father and I were in Tesco car park and we turned the bleed valve a little and took it down the road.
The boost cut came in and came as a shock how fierce it was my dad told me off for jabbing the brakes
